Uganda is currently undergoing a significant transformation of its education system, focused on modernization, digitalization, and a stronger vocational orientation. 

The aim is to shift the education system from rote learning to competency-based education (CBC) to better prepare young people for the modern job market.

Despite progress, there are significant problems due to overcrowded classrooms, lack of infrastructure (especially in rural areas), teacher shortages and high dropout rates.

At our suggestion, a workshop for headteachers will be planned to facilitate the exchange of experiences. We now know many dedicated headteachers and other individuals working in a responsible capacity in Ugandan schools who face essentially the same challenges and have all found or are still seeking their own solutions.

This could lead to the NGO developing into a center of excellence for modern education in Uganda.
